The film revolves around Emma Nolan, a student of Edgewater High school in Edgewater, Indiana, portrayed by Jo Ellen Pellman, who wants to take a girl to the annual prom night at the school, but the head of PTA, Mrs. Greene, made an announcement that the prom is canceled, as it is one of the school’s rules, which says that the students are only allowed to attend the prom with a date of the opposite sex. A group of narcissistic celebrities, in order to get back their fame worked hard to make this prom happen so that Emma can dance with her girlfriend.
