The story follows Jeronicus Jangle, an inventor, a toymaker, and owner of a toy factory, “Jangle and Things.” He was finally got the last component for his latest invention Don Juan Diego, a matador doll that can perceive emotions, which will change his and his family’s life forever. Diego was worried about his mass- production that will snatch away his uniqueness, so he convinces Jeronicus’s apprentice Gustafson, an ambitious inventor, to steal him and Jeronicus’s book of inventions and start his own toy-making empire. Jeronicus and his work were destroyed; his creativity was lost after this incident. He faced financial hardships, and when his wife died, he made himself distant from everyone, even his daughter, who also left him. He is now financially broke, as the bank ordered to take away his factory if he is unable to invent anything. When his estranged granddaughter, Journey Jangle, having the same passion as his grandfather, visits him, it gives new hope to Jeronicus. She helped his grandfather discover and complete a long lost toy that not only can lift their business but will bring their lost glory.
